Easier travel between Zimbabwe and Zambia

In the first stage of an initiative to simplify the visa system for Southern Africa, the Kavango Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation Area (the KAZA region) has launched a single "univisa" for visitors to Zambia and Zimbabwe. Costing $50, this visa can be purchased on arrival at four international airports: Lusaka, Livingstone, Victoria Falls and Harare.

After a 6 month trial period, 3 other countries in KAZA region, namely Angola, Botswana and Namibia are also set to join the scheme, facilitating seamless travel across Southern Africa.
