South African Airways has once again scooped the ‘Best African Airline’ Award at the Business Traveller Awards 2018. This is the 12th consecutive year that SAA has won the accolade, adding to a line-up of awards the airline has received this year.
This award follows South African Airways being voted the leading digital e-learning and brand immersion airline course last week by members of the travel industry.
The trade voted SAA second most popular course from over 150 online courses across the entire travel industry, on the online travel trade platform, OTT. SAA were the most popular airline course, second only to its industry partner, Star Alliance.

For a long time SAA in the UK has been at the forefront of digital engagement in the consumer and trade space, and we continuously look for new innovation and technology to support our customers”.
The Business Traveller Awards are voted for by readers of the magazine and are designed to reward products and services that the readers themselves value. Widely regarded as the market’s benchmark for excellence, South Africa’s national carrier beat competition from Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways and Comair (British Airways) for the title of Best African Airline.
