A Toast to the Winners of our Annual Wine Selection
 
Each year South African wine producers are invited to enter our Annual Wine Selection where a panel of twelve local and international experts select our on-board wines in blind tasting sessions over a period of three days. This year we received a record number of 1,017 entries and here are some of the winners!

• Méthode Cap Classique of the Year: Villiera Brut Natural Chardonnay 2009.
• White Wine of the Year: Spear Creative Block#2 2012.
• Red Wine of the Year: Provenance Rooi Carbenet Sauvignon/ Merlot/ Malbec / Carb Franc / Petit Verdot 2011.
• Port of the Year: Boplaas Cape Tawny Show Selection Reserve Tinta Barocca/Touriga Nacional/Souzao.
