Congratulations to Sunderland AFC Ladies who have been promoted to England’s top tier as Champions after winning the FA Women’s Super League 2 title in London.

 

The Lady Black Cats secured the title on the final day of their maiden season in the WSL by beating Millwall Lionesses 4-0. It will now see them compete with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea in FA WSL 1 during the 2015 season.



The win comes as South African Airways recently announced the second year of our marketing partnership as Official Airline of AFC Sunderland of the Premier League. AFC Sunderland have unique links with the continent of Africa and is the only football club to partner the Nelson Mandela Children's Foundation.
