Meet Reuben Riffel, one of South Africa’s most celebrated Chefs and the inspiration behind several of the delicious dishes we serve onboard.

Starting his career working for the award winning Monneaux Restaurant in Franschoek, Reuben quickly moved up the ranks from Assistant Sous Chef to Executive Chef. His next stop was Cambridge in the UK where he opened up Bruno’s Brasserie with some friends which was an instant hit with the locals and visitors alike.

After returning to Franschhoek in 2004, he opened Reuben’s restaurant and within six months won the prestigious Eat Out Johnnie Walker Restaurant of the Year award. Reuben is now the owner of three restaurants all based in the Western Cape and has launched an award winning cookbook - we're very proud to have him onboard!
