2. AfrikaBurn Festival (28th April to 4th May 2014)
AfrikaBurn is an art festival held once a year in the Karoo desert, within the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, based on the Burning Man festival in Arizona which attracts more than 80,000 people.
It is run by a community of volunteers who come together to create art, burning structures, costumes, performances, theme camps, music, mutant vehicles and much, much more.
This remarkable festival encourages and thrives on active participation - whatever anyone is good at, or wish to do, is welcomed and valued. However, whether your customers decide to volunteer or simply take in the atmosphere this promises to be an experience they will never forget!
