Further to the regulations introduced by the Department of Health Affairs relating to children entering and departing from South Africa, SAA has been very recently informed that the Minister has approved a special dispensation for minors accompanying school tours. In the case of school tours, the parental consent (previously required) may now be replaced with an affidavit from the school principal confirming that all consent letters are held by the school.
