Due to extreme weather conditions at Heathrow early this morning Thursday 02nd November South African Airways (SAA) arriving service SA236 from Johannesburg was diverted by Air Traffic Control to London Gatwick. We have received news from the airport authority that passengers will disembark the service at London Gatwick. Passengers have the option of making their own onward travel arrangements from London Gatwick, or they may take advantage of a free coach transfer to London Heathrow arranged by SAA with a scheduled arrival time of 13:00. South African Airways apologies for any inconvenience to its passengers following the extreme weather conditions this morning.
Passengers booked to fly from London Heathrow to Johannesburg on Thursday 02nd November should check in as normal.
